The goal of the competition was getting a quality urban, formative, functional and cost-effective solution that will form part of the modern new city center in Zagreb and contribute to the value of the wider area, simultaneously

recalling the historical development of this area.

Ultimately the goal of the competition was to make this block a new factor to the identity of this part of the

city center and major course of business, tourism, hospitality, cultural and artistic events, but also a place to make better quality of life for present and future residents.
